We are excited to offer an exclusive shopping experience for brides looking to find ‘the one’ in style.
A limited number of Sunday appointments are available for brides to enjoy an extended hour and a half personal shopping appointment with boutique owner and designer Russell Blackburn.
All VIP appointments on Sunday come with the privacy and exclusive use of the boutique for an hour and a half which includes a glass of bubbly for you and your guests.
With his previous background as Fashion Director at You & Your Wedding and with nearly fifteen years experience running Blackburn Bridal, dressing hundreds of brides, Russell is perfectly positioned to offer advice on shapes and styles to suit all types of bride.
Each appointment begins with a relaxed consultation with Russell where he will take the time to talk through your plans for your day to build up a picture of themes, styles, colour schemes, venue and the overall vision for the wedding. Any concerns over body shape and dress styles can be discussed at this stage to ensure Russell is equipped with all the information he needs before selecting a careful and considered edit of dresses for you to try on and kick start the shopping process.
Personal shopping appointments are priced at £75 and are strictly by appointment only. This fee includes exclusive use of the boutique for an hour and a half with boutique owner Russell Blackburn, and a glass of bubbly for each guest. Please note this fee is non-refundable but is redeemable against any gown purchase made.
I had an appointment at Blackburn Bridal yesterday and it was a wonderful experience. I brought one friend with me and we were immediately welcomed and made to feel comfortable in the space. We were helped by Carly and she guided us through the brands, let us look around on our own, and then helped select the dresses that seemed best for what I was looking for. We never felt rushed and never felt pressured into making a decision on the spot. I would definitely recommend Blackburn Bridal!

I visited the store on the 29th June during the sample sale weekend. I was a bit apprehensive about maybe not experiencing the special treatment as I’d made it clear I was only there to look at the sample sale dresses but I was totally wrong. From the moment I stepped in I was made to feel so special. I was lucky enough to have the lovely Lisa who helped me find my dream dress (she’s amazing and really knows her stuff). I also met Russell and another lady Gemma I think was her name, just all so lovely and the store itself is just so dreamy with a selection of stunning dresses. Thanks to the team at Blackburn for my dream dress! Amazing service and dresses :)
Amazing team !!! As soon as i walked in i was greeted with a warm friendly smile. The assistant Carly made me feel at ease, she knew exactly what would work with my shape. I would totally recommend this shop to all brides looking for that perfect dress. I felt so comfortable in there they really looked after me and my bridesmaids. Im so excited to say i finally have my Anna Campbell dress.
